2022 Paddling Film Festival
March 26, 2022 7pm
Each year since 2006, the Paddling Film Festival has showcased the very best paddling films from around the world. For 2022, we will be returning to the Cinema Theater on the Lawrence University campus in Appleton. This event sold out the previous time we offered it (pre-COVID) in 2019. Tickets will go on sale sometime in February, possibly sooner, so watch here for further details. If you missed last year’s films you can rent them here: Paddling Film Festival World Tour.
Historically, we’ve offered open pool sessions while classes are held at the Appleton YMCA, available to current NEWP members and current-year students. The cost is $5 per person (current-year students are free).
In normal years, open pool is held from 2:00 – 3:30 on those Sundays when our Fox Cities YMCA (Appleton) kayak classes are held from February through April. Classes (and open pools) are not held the weekends of Canoecopia and Easter. Check the classes page on this website for specifics.
Family friendly, come and go as you can.
Club Paddle EventsClub paddle events are reserved for NEWP club members. Joining NEWP is easy and allows you take part in these additional paddles.
