BOAT RENTALS
The City of Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department intends to offer boats for rent for the event and will provide greater detail as available.
This new paddle trip for NEWP will take us through both the West Twin River and the East Twin River, as well as the city of Two Rivers. We launch from Veterans Park into the West Twin, paddle into the downtown area and up the East Twin, past Paddlers Park until the shallow depth turns us back. We will retrace our route back to Veterans Park for the takeout. The total distance is expected to exceed four miles. Bring water and snacks to eat on the water. Why do they call it Paddlers Park? We’ll find out.
This event will be hosted by the City of Two Rivers, with NEWP logistical support, as part of an extended paddle activity weekend intended to focus attention on safe water sport activity on Two Rivers’ East and West Twin Rivers and to support their local Friends of the Twin Rivers Watershed group. Look for expanded information on other related activities as this event develops. For more details, see the Two Rivers Paddle Palooza page.
