This trip will convince you that the Fox is a beautiful river, in stretches. Much more rural than what you’re used to seeing in the Fox Cities, the river embraces cow pastures, hay fields and swamps. Voyagers on our past runs of this route claim it can boast of the best and most various bird life along the Fox River.
Want to continue the fun? Some may choose to extend the paddle after lunch on down to Miller’s Park in Omro, which adds an additional 7 miles to the trip.
